His large eyes are perfect for the deep water off the Indonesian coast. Most of the time he spends his sunny afternoons in the shallows using his tentacles to rummage for bits of clam or algae. Sometimes he meets another of his kind and they bask on the rocks grunting to their conversation. Being social creatures they will even groom each other while looking for pesky bristle worms.
