At the mouth of Greys River near Alpine Wyoming,
the landscape contains a variety of visual attractions. It was autumn.
I was walking along a winding dirt road that runs parallel to the
forest boundary. This road weaves into the distance through sage
brush, willows and occasionally pine. The willows have turned a
golden color and the scattered maples on the distant hillside were
bright shades of red and orange. The scattered pines accent this
scene with dark shadowed green and the sage brush lend a neutral
gray green to the foreground.
